In the modern neo-Byzantine temple, which was built in the mid-1980s, there are icons and mosaics depicting the fate and work of the Apostles of the Slavs. The emphasis is on their Great Moravian mission- the creation of the Glagolitic script, the suffering of Archbishop Methodius in a Bavarian prison and the death of St. Cyril in Rome.
